FCLV Celebrates Nurses at Las Vegas Aces Nurses Night Out

Celebrating the Team That Helps Families Grow

At The Fertility Center of Las Vegas, we know that exceptional fertility care is built on teamwork — and our nursing and clinical staff are at the heart of everything we do.

That’s why we were proud to send ten members of our team to the Las Vegas Aces’ annual Nurses Night Out at T-Mobile Arena. Hosted each season by the three-time WNBA champions, Nurses Night Out honors the dedication, compassion, and commitment of nurses and healthcare professionals throughout Southern Nevada. It’s a wonderful event that brings the community together for an unforgettable evening of basketball.

As Nevada’s first fertility clinic, established in 1988, we couldn’t imagine a better way to celebrate the people who help make family-building possible every day.

A Night Out for a Team Nine Decades in the Making

The ten team members who represented FCLV at T-Mobile Arena tell the story of our clinic better than any brochure could.

Shelley, our Executive Director, has guided The Fertility Center of Las Vegas since 1990 — just two years after our doors first opened. Jaime, our Nursing Supervisor, has been caring for patients here since 2008, and Kim, our Executive Assistant, joined in 2011. Together with Debbie, our Patient Concierge, they’ve welcomed thousands of hopeful parents through our doors.

Alongside them were the treatment coordinators and medical assistants who guide and support our patient journeys, including Laura, one of our IVF Case Managers; Paris and Katie, our Egg Donor & Surrogate Clinical Coordinators; Cynthia and Jasmine, two of our medical assistants; and Shironda, our Clinical Research Coordinator.

From a leader with 36 years of history to teammates in their very first season with us, this group brings more than nine decades of combined dedication to our patients. Every one of them plays a part in the moments families remember most.

The Heart of Every Fertility Journey

A message that says it all, thank you to every nurse who serves our community

Fertility nurses and clinical staff do far more than coordinate appointments. At a fertility clinic, they are the steady presence patients rely on from the very first phone call: teaching patients how to administer medications, monitoring progress throughout treatment cycles, answering questions with patience and honesty, and offering reassurance during the most emotional moments of the journey.

Our team supports patients from all over the world and long after treatment is complete, it’s often a nurse’s kindness that families remember first.

Nurses Night Out gave our team a well-deserved chance to step outside the clinic, connect with fellow healthcare professionals from across the Las Vegas valley, and celebrate one another the way they deserve.

Fertility and Future Family-Building: Timelines on Your Terms

Nights like this also reflect something bigger happening in women’s sports. Professional athletes are speaking more openly than ever about fertility, family planning, and how career timelines and family timelines intersect.

That conversation resonates with our team every day. You don’t have to be a professional athlete to plan ahead — every woman deserves the same access to information, options, and expert care, delivered with warmth and without pressure. For many of our patients, that starts with a simple fertility evaluation or a conversation about egg freezing, well before they’re ready to grow their family.

Supporting Families Every Step of the Way

The same team we celebrated at T-Mobile Arena walks beside our patients through every stage of care. For many families, the journey begins with a fertility evaluation to understand their options. From there, our nurses and coordinators guide patients through treatments like intrauterine insemination (IUI), intratubal insemination (ITI), and IVF — as well as egg freezing for those planning ahead and third-party reproduction for families building through egg donation or surrogacy.

Whatever path is right for you, you’ll find the same warmth our team brought to the arena that night. Meet the physicians (Dr. Bruce Shapiro, Dr. Carrie Bedient, and Dr. Leah Kaye) behind our care, and discover why families have trusted FCLV for nearly four decades.

A Commitment to Our Community

Supporting events like the Las Vegas Aces Nurses Night Out reflects our commitment not only to helping families grow, but also to recognizing the healthcare professionals who make Southern Nevada stronger every day.

We extend our sincere thanks to the Las Vegas Aces for hosting this special evening and for celebrating the nurses who dedicate their careers to caring for others. Las Vegas is a city of champions — on the court and in the clinic.
