Sonographer Renee’ Delefave helps hopeful parents and doctors gain valuable insights through ultrasounds
Hopeful mothers coming to our Las Vegas fertility center will likely receive an ultrasound from our skilled sonographer, Renee’ Delefave. She performs ultrasounds to assess a woman’s reproductive organs, the progress of an IVF cycle and the growth of a baby. She also assists our fertility doctors by conducting ultrasounds during intrauterine insemination (IUI) and sonohysterograms.
She graduated from Brown Institute in New Jersey and has been a sonographer for the past 17 years. In Vegas, she worked for an outpatient radiology center before becoming a sonographer at The Fertility Center of Las Vegas.
Appreciation for a supportive work environment
“I enjoy the family-like atmosphere of our Las Vegas fertility center,” Renee’ says. “Most of my coworkers have been here for over a decade, which is rare in most companies. I think it says a lot about the supportive environment that our doctors create.”
Renee’ also appreciates how close the team becomes with hopeful parents as they navigate their fertility journey. “We are always here for them as they move through their defeats and celebrate their victories. We’re all in this together,” she says.
Although Renee’ thought she wanted to become a full body ultrasound technician, she now can’t imagine doing anything else or working with another group of people. “I am one of the rare people who can say they truly love their job,” Renee’ says.
Renee’ Delefave has an active family life
Renee’ lives with Joe, her husband of 20 years. Together, they have a son named Deagan, 14, a daughter named Delana, 12, and a rescue dog named Zeus. They enjoy mountain biking, swimming and rooting for the Golden Knights hockey team.
