Ryanne Palermo helps hopeful parents get started at our clinic as a new patient coordinator
Every journey starts with the first step. In the case of fertility treatment at The Fertility Center of Las Vegas, many patients have Ryanne Palermo serve as their guide as they take this step. As the new patient coordinator for Dr. Carrie Bedient, Ryanne is proud to be a caring guide for hopeful parents who are starting their journey.
Before beginning fertility treatment, our doctors need to identify what’s making it difficult for a patient to conceive. This involves some bloodwork, exams and ultrasounds. Armed with a patient’s test results, our doctors can create a treatment plan to make parenthood possible.
“Getting started with the fertility treatment process can be overwhelming at first. That’s why I’m a supportive guide who helps get patients through the testing process as easily and with as little stress as possible,” Ryanne says. “I just keep reminding patients that this step will be over before they know it, and they’ll be one step closer to having that beautiful baby.”
Ryanne has a passion for women’s healthcare and fertility
Because she always wanted to work in the women’s healthcare field, Ryanne got her degree in public health. While she worked to figure out exactly how she wanted to use her degree, she worked for a radiology group. There, she met Katie Perry, the person who would help her find a job at our Las Vegas fertility center.
“Katie was my boss at the radiology group, and she knows how passionate I am about women’s health and fertility. After she joined The Fertility Center of Las Vegas, she let me know when a new patient coordinator position opened up. Now I have this wonderful job.”
Since joining our team, Ryanne has realized she’s in the perfect place for her. “I love working in fertility care because infertility is such a common issue. It’s terrible when someone wants to have a child but can’t for some reason,” she explains. “Whether it’s a single person, an LGBTQ couple or hopeful parents facing infertility, I want everyone to have their dream family. I’m proud to be a part of a team that helps make it happen.”
Many interests keep Ryanne busy in her spare time
Ryanne’s interests range from gaming and watching movies (especially Star Wars) with her husband, to drawing and horseback riding. Before moving from Illinois to Las Vegas, she was a competitive show jumper, and Ryanne would love to get back into it here.
