Dr. Shapiro to lecture on IVF research topics
As a well-known innovator in IVF research, our own Nevada IVF specialist, Bruce Shapiro, MD, PhD, is often invited to share his expertise at medical conferences and events. This summer, hundreds of physicians, nurses, scientists and reproductive endocrinology and infertility fellows attending the 2018 Midwest Reproductive Symposium International (MRSi) will have three unique opportunities to learn from Dr. Shapiro, one of the top IVF experts in the fertility field.
Dr. Shapiro will travel to Chicago for the three-day symposium, slated to take place June 6-9. With a theme of “The Architecture of IVF Around the Globe,” this educational event promotes the timely discussion of issues relevant to reproductive medicine, offering a mix of lectures, panel discussions and interactive workshops.
Sharing IVF research and expertise
As a member of the symposium’s expert faculty, our Nevada IVF specialist has been invited to present three lectures on IVF research topics of interest to fertility specialists and others seeking to learn more about the rapidly advancing field of reproductive medicine.
- The Best Deal: Structuring Financial Impact of Frozen Embryo Transfer (FET) vs. Fresh Embryo Transfer
- Blueprints on Success: Building the Best Uterine Lining
- Optimizing Implantation in FET Cycles: Tricks of the Trade
Dr. Shapiro is a recognized researcher, educator and thought leader within the reproductive medicine community, having developed several protocols and techniques that make IVF safer and more effective. His research is regularly featured in respected medical journals, and he works to educate the next generation of fertility specialists as the Director of the Division of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of Nevada School of Medicine.
His award-winning IVF research has benefited countless patients who have experienced IVF cycle failures or ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome (OHSS), giving them a better chance of having a baby and a lower risk of complications.
The brightest minds
When Dr. Shapiro founded The Fertility Center of Las Vegas, it was the first medical practice of its kind in the area. Today, we are proud to still be recognized as home to some of the fertility field’s brightest minds.
