Laura Cisneros guides many patients through the diagnostic testing phase at FCLV
You can think of your journey at The Fertility Center of Las Vegas as having two phases. The first is diagnostic testing to identify any barriers to conception, and the second is fertility treatment to overcome these issues. As a new patient diagnostic coordinator at our Las Vegas infertility clinic, Laura Cisneros helps many patients navigate this important first step.
Laura works with couples and single individuals who visit Dr. Leah Kaye for help conceiving. Additionally, she assists all FCLV patients who speak Spanish.
“Spanish was actually my first language,” she says. “I was born in California, but I grew up in a household that only spoke Spanish and didn’t learn English until I started school.”
The medical field has always been a part of Laura’s life
Laura Cisneros joined our Las Vegas infertility clinic in May 2024. However, she is no stranger to the medical field. Our new patient diagnostic coordinator has worked with a neurologist, an endocrinologist, a radiologist and even in an emergency room. She started as a receptionist after she completed medical assisting school at age 20.
Her experience in healthcare goes back even before she started working, though. “I knew from a young age that I would find my career in the medical field,” Laura recalls. “My mom was a receptionist at a big family medicine clinic in California, and I basically grew up there.”
Fertility care ultimately called to Laura, as she has family and close friends who have faced infertility.
“I have a deep connection to the field, even though I am new to working in it,” she says.
This passion guides Laura Cisneros as she performs tasks that include explaining diagnostic tests to patients, scheduling assessments, and answering questions from hopeful parents.
“Knowing that I am part of a wonderful and knowledgeable team that is helping create families brings me joy,” Laura says. “I hope I have the privilege to continue to do this work for a long time, and possibly even help those close to me with their families.”
In addition to having a passion for helping patients, this new patient diagnostic coordinator loves working with the FCLV team.
“Working here is wonderful because the practice treats their employees like family,” Laura says. “Everyone treats each other with respect, and laughter is heard in the halls. The doctors are friendly and willing to answer any of my questions. This is the feeling that I have been looking for since I started working.”
Laura Cisneros finds time for fun and family outside of her work
When Laura isn’t serving patients as a new patient diagnostic coordinator, you can find her enjoying one of her many hobbies. This self-described “huge reader” always has a Kindle or a book with her. She also enjoys crocheting blankets, going to baseball games with friends, enjoying live music, and traveling.
Laura enjoys traveling to new cities with friends and going to Disneyland at least once a year. She also travels to Mexico every year to visit extended family with her sister and best friend, Carolina, and her loving parents Juan and Joanna. “We have such a close relationship, so I enjoy spending time with them as much as I can,” she says.
