Registered nurse Lesleigh Pena supports patients with fertility testing and procedures
The patients at our Las Vegas fertility center will likely get to know Lesleigh Pena, one of our registered nurses. Lesleigh guides women and men through diagnostic testing, reviewing lab results and moving forward with fertility treatments. She also works in our surgery center, supporting our patients during procedure recovery. Through it all, she focuses on ensuring that the journey to pregnancy is as smooth as possible.
Extensive nursing experience
Lesleigh Pena has a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Mary Hardin Baylor in Belton, Texas. After graduating, she worked as a labor and delivery nurse before transitioning to an OB/GYN practice. In 2004, she moved to Las Vegas and joined our Las Vegas fertility center.
“I feel like FCLV is my family,” she says. “I know that my coworkers genuinely care about me. We work as a team and help each other achieve common goals.” She also feels that the fertility specialists at our clinic provide a superior level of care and are passionate about helping our patients fulfill their dreams of parenthood.
Lesleigh Pena has a love of patient care
“One of my favorite parts of this job is patient care,” Lesleigh says. “I believe that when I’m face to face with patients they can see and feel that I deeply care about their wellbeing.” She believes this is especially important because many patients have been trying to become pregnant for years. They need reassurance that they’ve found a clinic that can help.
In addition to providing this assurance, Lesleigh helps patients understand why they need certain diagnostic tests and how the results will inform the fertility treatments they receive.
Life as a grandmother and an outdoor enthusiast
When she’s not supporting the patients at our Las Vegas fertility center, Lesleigh enjoys playing golf with her husband, going to the gym, hiking and exploring the land around Las Vegas. She also frequently travels to Texas to visit her two daughters and five grandchildren.
