Our clinical coordinator helps ensure your fertility treatments move smoothly

A valued member of our Las Vegas fertility clinic, Sarah Mitre is a clinical coordinator for hopeful parents, gestational surrogates and egg donors. She provides expert guidance that starts with creating a treatment schedule and continues to the exciting moment of a positive pregnancy test.

Sarah is very detailed when creating and sending treatment schedules and supporting documents. She makes sure patients understand every instruction. Not only that, she also follows up with test results and confirms medications and appointment instructions.

Sarah provides support through each step of a patient’s fertility journey with our clinic. Our clinical coordinator answers questions for the patients, orders medications and makes sure the process moves as smoothly as possible.

An appreciation for the care we provide

After attending the College of Southern Nevada (CSN) and the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV) for general studies, Sarah worked as a veterinary technician for 10 years. She began working at our Las Vegas fertility clinic in 2013. She loves her role as a clinical coordinator because it allows her to connect with patients as they move through fertility treatments.

She also enjoys helping women and men understand their treatments. Her favorite part of the job is receiving photos of the babies that were born as a result of her support.

Sarah first connected with the emotions that hopeful parents feel when she held her newborn son. “I remember staring at him in my arms and falling so deeply in love. One of my first thoughts was that I want everyone to have the opportunity to experience this feeling,” Sarah says. “I’m so happy to be a part of helping people have that experience of holding their babies and being filled with that love.”

A supportive work environment for our clinical coordinator

While Sarah has a tight-knit, loving family outside of work, she also feels like she’s part of a family at our Las Vegas fertility clinic. Sarah says, “We are the FCLV family. I love the people I work with, and truly enjoy coming here each day to provide support as a clinical coordinator.” She especially appreciates how much care the Clinical Team at FCLV puts into all fertility treatments and cases at the clinic.

“[Dr. Shapiro] is one of the most genuine people I have ever met. He is humble and always thinking of what is best for the patient. He also treats his employees like family and has created an incredibly supportive work environment,” Sarah says. “I believe the benefits of that positive energy are passed on to the hopeful parents.”
