Emily Erra-Hernandez is proud to have a job where she can make a difference

“Learning you need fertility treatments to have a baby can be overwhelming, and there’s so much unfamiliar terminology in fertility care,” Emily says. “My job is to simplify the process and put patients’ minds at ease.”
Emily has a passion for helping hopeful parents as an IUI and IVF coordinator

According to Emily, “This specialty is where I feel like I am making a difference in someone’s life. My family members have needed fertility assistance in the past, so I have a special passion for helping patients who are facing similar struggles.”

As an IUI and IVF coordinator at our Las Vegas fertility clinic, Emily makes sure that each treatment cycle runs smoothly. Her duties include tasks such as reviewing and charting patients’ daily bloodwork and calling in medication refills. She also introduces herself to new patients and meets with existing patients after their appointments to discuss the next steps for their treatment.
Emily Erra-Hernandez views answering patient questions as the most important of her responsibilities at our Las Vegas fertility clinic.
“I spend a lot of time helping patients understand the fertility treatment process,” she says. “I answer questions about follicle development, medications, symptoms, and any other general questions about their fertility journey.”
Emily has been with our team since 2019 because she “believe[s] in the work we do here.” When asked about the best part of her job, she says, “Knowing that what I do matters. Seeing the change in our patients from the first time they walk into FCLV to the last time is worth every stressful or tough day.”
Emily Erra-Hernandez has fun both inside and outside of work

“Aside from all the hard work we put in every day, we have a lot of fun in the office, and I look forward to coming to work every day to see my FCLV family,” Emily explains. “When patients come through our doors, they can feel the love we all have for one another, which takes a lot of stress off them.”

If you think fertility treatments could help you welcome a baby, Emily Erra-Hernandez and the rest of the team at our Las Vegas fertility clinic are here to help. Contact us to schedule an appointment and make your dream of parenthood come true.
