Vanessa Covarrubias helps our doctors provide high-quality patient care
Vanessa Covarrubias is a fertility medical assistant and an integral part of our Las Vegas fertility center. She supports our doctors during procedures, exams and other aspects of patient care. She also makes it a priority to ensure hopeful parents feel fully supported during each step of their fertility journey. “We cry with them and celebrate with them, always hoping for the best,” she says.
An interest in the fertility field
Before coming to our Las Vegas fertility center, Vanessa Covarrubias worked at an OB/GYN clinic. This sparked Vanessa’s interest in fertility and led her to work in our clinic. “I was fascinated by the fertility field and how extensive it was,” she remembers.
She’s grateful for her role at our clinic and enjoys fostering relationships with the patients. “Sometimes I see hopeful parents years later and they still remember me. It’s amazing,” she says. But her favorite part is the moment they find out they’re pregnant. “It’s an honor to be with them during the ultrasound where they get to see the baby,” Vanessa says. “We call it the baby’s little gummy bear stage.”
Vanessa is honored to work here saying, “I’ve never seen this level of fertility care anywhere else.”
Life outside work
When she’s not supporting women and men at our Las Vegas fertility center, Vanessa enjoys spending time with her children. They enjoy movie nights, going shopping and exploring Utah with her parents. She’s also very active in her church community.
